Moving up Transition Party - 31st July 2026

Moving up to Year 6 is an exciting milestone, and we'd love to welcome your child to The Point Youth Club before they begin their final year of primary school.

​

Our Year 5 to Year 6 Moving Up Party is designed to introduce soon-to-be Year 6 pupils to The Point, giving them the chance to explore the youth club, meet our friendly youth workers and discover the exciting activities on offer before they start attending our weekly sessions.

​

The party is also a fantastic opportunity for young people from different local primary schools to come together, make new friends and build connections before they move into Year 6. By meeting others in a fun, relaxed environment, many children arrive at secondary school already knowing familiar faces from across the community.

​

During the evening, young people can enjoy a range of games, activities and challenges while finding out what makes The Point such a welcoming place to spend time each week.

​

After the party, they'll be invited to join our regular Year 6 Youth Club, which runs every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:15pm. Our weekly sessions offer a safe, inclusive space where young people can socialise, take part in activities, develop new skills and have fun with friends.

​

Whether your child is excited about moving up or feeling a little nervous, our Moving Up Party is a great way to build confidence, make new friends and become part of The Point community.
